Obituary of Irene Marion Biegel

Irene Marion Biegel, age 90, of Palos Heights, passed from this life, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Palos Community Hospital. Irene was born June 3, 1924 in Merrill, WI. She is the daughter of the late Herman F. and the late Emma (Matthews) Teschke. Irene is the beloved sister of Dorothy M. (the late Raymond) Silhan and the late Arthur (the late Gloria) Teschke. She is the cherished aunt of Carol Silhan; Raymond (Susan) Silhan Jr.; Coral (David) Stafford; Allyson Teschke; Leslee (David) Ihssen and Gayl (Brian) Kerbs. Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon, at The Ev. Lutheran Church Of The Good Shepherd, 7800 W. McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights, IL with Rev. Dr. Wayne A. Basch officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn. Irene was formerly employed as an executive secretary for Union Carbide/Dow Chemical for 30 years. She was a former chair member of Faith Lutheran Church. Irene enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
